Bring your gals to this special Galentine's Day Calligraphy Class for beginners! We'll be learning the basics of using a pen and nib in modern calligraphy and at the end of class you'll have the opportunity to create a card for your loved ones.

About the event
What a better way to celebrate your gals than to learn a new crafty skill together! Come to our special Galentine's day class at Distillery of Modern Art in Chamblee to learn how to write in modern calligraphy or bring your lover with you as a cute Valentine's Day activity :)
In this class, you'll learn the basic process of building letters in modern styles with guides, worksheets, and instruction. You'll also receive a beginner kit of calligraphy materials including a pen holder, nibs, ink, and of course paper. During the last portion of class, I'll walk you how to apply the skills you learned to a final piece.
No prior calligraphy experience is necessary. We'll be covering how to use the materials, how to build letters, and connect your letters into words.
